High-Performance Teams
A team is a collection of individuals who come together to fulfill a purpose, to collaboratively achieve a greater result than any single individual could, while respecting and appreciating team members differences and learning collectively from the experience.
The Challenge:
Building a team of high performers is a difficult task, yet well worth the effort. Effective teams focus on the team’s goals with a proactive, high sense of urgency to accomplish extraordinary results.
The Program:
Our work in team development focuses on the following five components of team effectiveness:
- Team Goals: Clarifying the team’s sense of purpose and direction
- Team Roles: Understanding individual roles and responsibilities and how work is allocated
- Team Processes and Procedures: Identifying how the team conducts its business
- Team Relationships: Understanding each team member’s behavioral style and creating an environment where people respect and appreciate different styles.
- Team Leadership: Diagnoses the capacity of every team member to take on a leadership role when the situation requires it.
Team development interactions are based on a team’s level of effectiveness in each of these areas. In addition, we strongly recommend the use of our T.E.A.M.S. Assessment prior to any team effectiveness efforts.
